MEDITERRANEO
CHENIN BLANC
TERRE SICILIANE IGP
VINTAGE 2023
Chenin Blanc’s acclimation in Sicily represents an experiment of great pride and satisfaction in our family’s history. Originally from the Loire Valley, Chenin was met with the same, beloved alluvial soils in the Belice Valley, albeit with a much milder climate. In our version, the harsh verticality and aggressive acidity that characterizes Loire valley wines is rounded out by an aging period in wood, bringing out heightened floral aromas and notes of fresh fruit, like apple and pear. Lithe and easy to drink but with a notable body, this wine is simply seductive.
