SOIL CHARACTERISTICS: Farmed in Sicily in a clayey and sandy ground with alkaline reaction.
VINEYARD AREA: Tenuta Corridore Dagala della Donna – Poggioreale
GRAPE OUTPUT PER HECTARE: 100/120 quintals.
FARMING SYSTEM: Espalier with guyot pruning.
HARVEST: Grapes are harvested early September, with full ripening of the grapes.
WINEMAKING: Vinified with a 10 day long maceration at controlled temperatures. After racking the wine is left to mature in steel tanks at 80% and the last 20% in oak tonneaux during the Winter before being filtered and bottled in Spring.
COLOUR: Intense and shining yellow
TASTING NOTES: On the nose it is rich and concentrated; Its scents are the typical essences of the Mediterranean area, like peach and honey, which intertwine with sweet jasmine flowers and orange blossoms. The mouth is fresh, savory and mineral.

APPELLATION: Red Wine – Sicilia D.O.C.
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 13% vol.
The alcohol content is indicative and it could be subject to variations of +/- 0,5% vol.
VINEYARD AREA: Poggioreale hills, between 200 and 300 meters on the sea level.
SOIL: Shallow soils of medium texture calcareous clay with a good content of organic matter and iron.
WINEMAKING: This Nero d’Avola is harvested at the right phenolic ripeness and vinified with a 12-15 days long maceration at 26° C with daily pump-overs. After racking the wine is matured in stainless steel tanks for 4 months
before being bottled. No oak is used to preserve the freshness
TASTING NOTES: Bouquet of blackberries and ripe cherries. A full, mid-body wine that is nicely rounded with tannins. Balanced acidity and persistency with a fruity finish.
FOOD PAIRING: Perfect with grilled meats, spaghetti with pesto sauce and pecorino cheese.

VINEYARD AREA: Belice valley, 200/500 m above sea level North-East facing slopes. SOIL: Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand.

WINEMAKING: The grapes are de-stemmed and softly pressed. The must obtained is clarified by cold static decantation and fermented at low temperatures. When the alcoholic fermentation is about to end, the wine is decanted into hermetic tanks, where the residual sugars are transformed into carbon dioxide, thus defining the parlage of the wine.
TASTING NOTES: Fine on the nose, bouquet rich in nuances, from white fruit to aromatic. On the palate it is fresh and savory with fruity notes.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 8 / 10 °C.
FOOD PAIRING: Excellent with aperitifs, light appetizers, shellfish, raw fish.

VINEYARD AREA: Belice valley, 200/500 m above sea level North-East facing slopes. SOIL: Relatively deep alluvial based soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand.

WINEMAKING: The grapes are harvested manually during the first 10 days of August. Once harvested, they are carefully placed on wooden racks where they can be observed as they dry in the sun until the beginning of September. A selection of Zibibbo grapes are harvested, crushed and begin to ferment in a stainless-steel tank. During this time, the Zibibbo grapes that have been drying in the sun for a month are added to the tank.
NOTE DEGUSTATIVE: This wine provides a dark yellow color with amber reflections. On the nose, a honey sweetness with notes of fresh apricot and orange peel.
On the palate, flavors of pastries and raisins prevail.
